HCM Member Since: 2016, #33. HCM Record: Group winner and Finalist, 2018 and 2021 Notable: Rumson is one of the most venerable clubs on the eastern seaboard, with roots well over a century old. Along with HC teams Morris County GC and Somerset Hills, it is a member of The Quadrangular, often cited as the oldest annual interclub competition in America. While not a long course, its proximity to water and wind can provide even the best players a challenge. After impressive rookie and soph years, Rumson made the Finals in 2018, a startling trajectory for a new Hoffman Cup club that took them to second overall in 2021. We look forward to RCC's success and appreciate the passion they bring to the Hoffman Cup. Rumson hosted the 2009 NJSGA Senior Amateur. |
